When Suddenlies Come To Your Door

Matthew 19:6 (KJV)

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please draw us closer to God and  to one another. We bind the spirit of division. Please Heavenly Father, let our love grow deeper and deeper in Jesus' Name.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Marriage is not for the faint of heart. When you say "I Do" you are making a vow  to God, to your mate and the guest that are with. As one flesh you can't let no one come in te middle of your marriage.  When Suddenlies Comes To Your Door. It will do two things: draw you closer to each other or draw you away from each other. We pray it will make your marriage stronger.  When we got married on July 6, 2011. Only God could prrepare us for the events that would come to our door. August 3, 2012 I had wrist surgery and one month later I had a stroke,  as a result I'm walking with a walker. Lost love ones all in between this time. It made our marriage stronge still standing on the Word of The Lord.  On Febuary  25th of this year my husband was beatten and robbed and as a result short memory loss, head aches, double vision, right shoulder pain, his left leg muscle pain. As a result we are going to the Doctors every other day, and he walks with a cain. We are closer than ever and standing on the word of God. TheWord of God will give you peace and will bring you though every situation you are facing....
So Stand Strong on The Lord.

Hearing From God

Psalm 10:17 (NIV)

You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly, I thank you for hearing my prayer. Please fine tune my ears so I can hear Your still small voice and I will obey....Let me not be so busy that I don't take the time to say "Thank You Lord."  Dear Lord, please increase my prayer time with you  and let me wait on Your instructions.... ~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you really how powerful your prayers are? When you pray The Word, you are connecting with God's well. God's word is alive and powerful according to:

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Prayer is just a conversation with The Lord, and like any conversation it is a two way thing. One is talking and the other one is listening for a response. That is the say way when we pray to our Heavenly Father. We listen and then obey. The Bible clearly say about hearers only:

James 1:22

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

So set out some time to pray just  you and The Lord, then wait for His instructions and do them..Until we meet again Be Blessed!!!

Are You Bound Or Free?

Philippians 2:5(KJV)

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to say focus on You and you word. I know Your Word will set me free from all bondage...

~Something To Ponder~

Are you walking around in bondage? You don't have to be in a jail cell to be in bondage. You can be bound in your mind, by words spoken over you, life's experience's, trying to do thing your way besides God's way   and by hanging with negative people. The Bible says according to:

1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV)

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

The Word of God sets the captives free, no matter were you fide yourself. If you apply the Word of God to your issues it will work. We must give all of our issues to The Lord. Our problem is that  we give only half to The Lord and we try to work it out ourselves, and it never works...trust me on this I have been there and tried it!!! And sometimes we have a B plan.... When Jesus is the only plan you need. So if you want to be free "Work The Word and The Word Will Work" Jesus says "O Taste and see.....

Psalm 34:8 (KJV)

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

My brother's and sister's stay free and be all that God wants you to be...

A Diamond In The Rough

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father,  I  thank You for working a good work in me, even when I can't see it. I will receive it by faith.....~~Amen~~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you know how precious you are to The Lord ? I am so grateful that God is working on me...Thank You Jesus, for I am a work in process. The only thing I can say is "work on me Lord!!" I'm thankful that The Lord has brought me out of darkness into the marvelous light. For us to shine with His goodness.... Don't you know the Greater One Lives and Breathes within us. It is our responsibility  to study His Word and live it, meditate on The Word of God and share it with someone else. In God's timing your gift will be manifest and your gift will make room for it. So keep on praising The Lord and studying His Word and you will grow into this Mighty person that God has created you to be from the beginning of time...

How Deep Are Your Roots?

Psalm 1:3 (KJV)

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, let me grow deeper and deeper each and every day in You Lord. Please let me be like that tree in (Psalm 1:3) In  Jesus Matchless Name......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

How deep are your roots in Christ Jesus? Are you asking God to go deeper in You  Lord? Are you desiring to go deeper in Him? How do you go deeper in The Lord? When we do a Spiritual check-up we must be honest with ourself...the Word of God say's "To thy own self be true." God say's ask anything in my name and it shall be done. So we just have to ask our Heavenly Father to take us deeper in Him... and it shall be done. Do you really what to go deeper or are  you cool right were you are? The Bible say's "I will give you the desires of your heart." We grow deeper in Him by going to Church and hearing the Word of God ... Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We grow deeper  by Reading the Word, Going to Bible Study, Doing God's Well,  Praying, Meditating on The Word of God. The Word of God say's meditate on the Word of God day and night...So our prayer should be Lord take me deeper and deeper in You Lord Amen.

Money Money Money

1 Timothy 6:10  (KJV)

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me not to look at money for everything... You are my souce Lord....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Is money ruling you or you are ruling it? This is one of my most misquoted verse...."Money is the root to all evil," however that is not what the scripture says.....For the love of the money is the root to all evil.  Are you loving money so much that you are over looking the things of The Lord?   If we are not carefull we can  start making our things litte gods...such as my car, my house, my clothes, my shoe, our children's school, let's not forget ladies our hand bags....our gadgets. Money is a necessity and we all can use more, but we must relize The Lord is our source. Please stay focus and keep on doing the well of our Father. The word of God say's delight yourself in The Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart...according to
Psalm 37:4.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

~Prayer~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you confident that The Lord hears you when you pray? Can you really trust in The Lord for everything you are going through? Can you  witness to someone else about Jesus with pure assurance in God? I am here  to tell you that  God always hears us when we prayer, and trust in The Lord  wholly. Knowing that the greater one  lives and breathes within you...Yes you can do all things through Christ Jesus our Lord. It is our responsibility to witness and share the goodness of The Lord. So step out by faith and do the will of our Father....~Amen~

Are You That Contentious Woman?

Proverbs 25:24 (NRSV)

It is better to live in a corner of the housetop

than in a house shared with a contentious wife...

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me not to be argumentative. Let me listen and hold my peace......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you that person that is alway arguing? Your husband never do anything right? Are you putting him on blast in public? Just for the record that is the most  unattractive that a woman can do..If there is a problem discuss it in privite, then don't bring it up again. Don't put your arguments on the media, because there's  somebody out there that don't vaule  the bond of marriage. Do you run your husband on top of the  roof to get some peace? Does your husband toon you  out? Just maybe it might be the tone of your voice... Have you thought about that? Now where do we go from here? First of all apologize to your husband and really try to do better, second you and your husband pray together and  ask God to draw you closer and when to discuss the issues and how to discuss them. Please remember it isn't what you say it is how you say it... :)

Standing On The Word Of God

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

~Prayer~

Dear Father God, I thank You for Your protection daily. My so do Love You  Lord!!~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you believe in The Word of God and can you stand on stand on the word for every situation in your life? Do you change the Word to fit your circumstances? God's Word can not be added to nor taken away. Everything you are going through is found in the Word of God. God talk to us through His Word. (PS. 40:7).It is our responsibility to teach our family and children the Word of God. Have a Blessed Day.

Family Time

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord,  help me to take the time out to teach my children the Bible and take them to Church.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you teaching your children on how to lead by example? Are you talking about Jesus, reading the Bible and taking your family to Church? One of the greatest legacy we can leave for   our  children is Christ Jesus.  Letting them know that Jesus is always there.  When your children understand the Word of God, than it is passed down to the next generation and so on. Spending time with your children and family, you creating memories that can't be erased. My son is grown and he share with me about his growing up and now he is married and with children, and he is  teaching his children about Christ Jesus. One thing I have learned is don't look at there faces, they may act like they are not listening but they are.  So Please take the time out with your children they will thank you letter.

Do You Have Time For Romance?

Hebrews 13:4 (KJV)

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled..........

~Payer~

Dear Lord,  please rekindle  the ambers of our marriage and let us take out the time to spend together.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you so busy you don't have time for romance? Have you lost that  honeymoon feeling? Did the fire in your marriage get smoothered by the cares of life, chlidren, jobs internet media? Ask God to find a way to bring back the fire in the relationship. Your honeymoon should never die, no matter how long you have been married if it is 1 year to 80 years. Always strive to keep your  marriage exciting, turn off your cell and no texting allowed, spend some we time with your mate, go to be beach or take a walk on the pier, go out to the movies and dinner, get a baby sitter and spend that time together, hugs and kisses always works, go to a spa, relax. Your marriage should never be mundane. So fan those amber and bring it back to the fire it was and keep on praising God for your marriage.

Why Did You Get Married?

Matthew 19:6 (KJV)

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

~Prayer~

Dear Father, please draw us closer every day and Praise Your Holy Name in Jesus' Matchless Name!!~Amen~

~~Something To Ponder~

Why did you get married? Did you get married because you wanted to get out of your parents house, biological clock was ticking, or you got pregnant, he or she is so fine, are you thinking you are getting too old, or someone told you he or she is the one for you, or he or she can rock it... yes I said it... what do you have in common after that? Marriage is not for the weak at heart... all of these reasons  maybe how you had stared off your marriage. We must put God first in everything we do as a couple. Be commit to make your marriage work and last until death do you part.

Here are some helpful tips:

 Ladies

You are a Queen the Bible calls us a good thing....Don't give up what is good. You are  the gift don't let no one unwrap that gift  until you get marriage. Your body is not a revolving door. If a king doesn't recognize you as a queen than he is not your king....Please don't settle for anyone. Wait on God. You will know when your king comes to you..

Men

Don't get married if you are not ready to get married, it is unfair for her. She gives her heart thinking you are the one and inwardly you are not. Love your queen and treat her right and be faithful to her and her only!! You are  her covering, provide for her. Be the leader of your household by going to Church.  Please be gentle with your words and your wife walks  side by side with you not behind you.

I got married when I was 36  and I became a widow at the age of 40  my husband had cancer. It was 11 year before I got married  again at the age of 51 years... He is my gift from God. My prayer was God give me Your very best for me and after that I moved out of God's way and stayed busy by doing God's will. In January 2011 The Lord told me that I am going to be married at the time  I wasn't dating anyone but I received it and I went to a Gospel Concert with my Pastor and a sister from the church where  I was attending and he was sitting right by my pastor and she had introduce him to me. I never knew that he would be my husband. He had asked my pastor and myself  to minister at his church but she wasn't able to go so I went and preached. The Lord told him I was his wife and The Lord  told me he was my husband we were married July 6, 2011. So if God did it for me He will do it for you... Wait on The Lord!!!

Mend My Heart Lord

Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

~Prayer~

Thank you for healing my broken heart. For only You can touch me and mend me. Thank You Lord.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Lord, I know you hear me when I pray and when my heart is hurting. Too many times we look for people, places, and things to heal our hearts instead of looking unto God who is and author and finisher of our faith. We may have been hurt by illness, death of a loved one, parents, family , relationships, husband, wife, church, children,  Cast those cares upon The Lord for He cares for you. The Word of God says weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning (Ps.30:5). Today I speak Joy, Peace in your mind, body and soul. Please remember The Joy of The Lord is your strength and when tears are still falling lift up your hands and start praising Lord, because The Lord is still good even in this.....God is Able Amen.

Extra Bags

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to unpack all of my extra bags in my life....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you bring extra bags into your marriage such as:  hurts, mistrust, unforgiving, betrayal, abuse just to name a few. We must have our bags unpacked before we get into a relationship or marriage. How we can unpack our bags is only through Jesus, by asking Him to teach me how to forgive all of my hurts and  give it to Jesus by casting all my cares upon Him for He cares for you. There is nothing too hard for our Lord. Also ask The Lord to make you whole. The saying "my mate makes me whole," first you must be whole and your mate is whole then you two will become one!! Wholeness only come through The Word of  God.  So if you have any unpacked bags give it to The Lord and Pray with your  spouse and ask The Lord to draw you closer and restore the love , trust and understand in Jesus Matchless Name Amen.

Sweet Words vs Hard Words

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to speak sweet words and not harmful words......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you speaking sweet words or harmful words? In the Book of James, he talks about "this unruly member." (James 3:8) Are you aware of how many people we have killed with our tongue? Word do hit harder than a fist!! We all need to repent and from this point on ask Jesus to help me speak sweet words to my family and friends in Jesus' Name Amen!

Knowing Who You Are In Christ Jesus

Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, Thank You for loving me and showing me who I am in You. Help me to start believing in Your word and walking with my head up and show the Love of Christ within me....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Far too long, we have been believing what people say we are, and not listening   to what Jesus said you are. Saints of the Most High God.. we have been walking in the power of God and being used by Him, but inwardly we have not been believing in ourselves, we have been walking with low
self-esteem and not standing on Psalm 139:14. Maybe someone has broken your spirit and spoke words of destruction over your life, or  maybe you have been verbally abused (I have been that abused person) I know how that feels, or maybe you have be abused by another way. To many times we try  fit in with society. The Church, says who we are or even trying to be what they say you should be,  instead of being who you are. Your too short, too tall, too fat, too skinny. You must say "I'm just the way God has made me and I am beautiful, you are not a mistake or an oops. The word of God says " He knew you when you were a seed in your mother's womb. (Jeremiah 1:5) So now walk with your head up high and live the life Jesus has called you to live. Then you can encourage your children when they come to you with the same judgmental  words that there friends might have said.

Take One Day At A Time

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please give me patience to handle life's circumstances and with my family, friends and  my co-workers.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you  have patience? Are you one who will go off when you have to wait for a while? The Bible says "Let Patience Possess Your Soul."(Luke 21:19) Sometimes God allows you to go through something,  so you can develop patience and  for you to wait on The Lord for your blessing. You can't be a hot head, you will loose more than you think..your family, jobs and friends.. So Let's Pray today for Patience...and we must run this race by taking one day at a time and trusting in The Lord for everything in your life....~Amen~
