Psalm 10:17 (NIV)
You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
~Prayer~
Dear Heavenly, I thank you for hearing my prayer. Please fine tune my ears so I can hear Your still small voice and I will obey....Let me not be so busy that I don't take the time to say "Thank You Lord." Dear Lord, please increase my prayer time with you and let me wait on Your instructions.... ~Amen~
~Something To Ponder~
Do you really how powerful your prayers are? When you pray The Word, you are connecting with God's well. God's word is alive and powerful according to:
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Prayer is just a conversation with The Lord, and like any conversation it is a two way thing. One is talking and the other one is listening for a response. That is the say way when we pray to our Heavenly Father. We listen and then obey. The Bible clearly say about hearers only:
James 1:22
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
So set out some time to pray just you and The Lord, then wait for His instructions and do them..Until we meet again Be Blessed!!!
