Knowing Who You Are In Christ Jesus

Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, Thank You for loving me and showing me who I am in You. Help me to start believing in Your word and walking with my head up and show the Love of Christ within me....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Far too long, we have been believing what people say we are, and not listening   to what Jesus said you are. Saints of the Most High God.. we have been walking in the power of God and being used by Him, but inwardly we have not been believing in ourselves, we have been walking with low
self-esteem and not standing on Psalm 139:14. Maybe someone has broken your spirit and spoke words of destruction over your life, or  maybe you have been verbally abused (I have been that abused person) I know how that feels, or maybe you have be abused by another way. To many times we try  fit in with society. The Church, says who we are or even trying to be what they say you should be,  instead of being who you are. Your too short, too tall, too fat, too skinny. You must say "I'm just the way God has made me and I am beautiful, you are not a mistake or an oops. The word of God says " He knew you when you were a seed in your mother's womb. (Jeremiah 1:5) So now walk with your head up high and live the life Jesus has called you to live. Then you can encourage your children when they come to you with the same judgmental  words that there friends might have said.

Take One Day At A Time

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please give me patience to handle life's circumstances and with my family, friends and  my co-workers.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you  have patience? Are you one who will go off when you have to wait for a while? The Bible says "Let Patience Possess Your Soul."(Luke 21:19) Sometimes God allows you to go through something,  so you can develop patience and  for you to wait on The Lord for your blessing. You can't be a hot head, you will loose more than you think..your family, jobs and friends.. So Let's Pray today for Patience...and we must run this race by taking one day at a time and trusting in The Lord for everything in your life....~Amen~

A Praying Family

Psalm 122:1 (KJV)

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to be that example for my family. For there is Joy in The House of The Lord.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

According to Psalm 122:1, there is Joy in The House of The Lord. I can't tell my family to go to Church and I don't go. We must lead by example. Not only going to Church but Bible Study and any other activities they may have.  It is our responsibility to train up a child  in the way..... according to Proverbs 22:6. Let your home be a home of Godly peace and prayer and also playing Christian music and talk about the goodness of The Lord. If you haven't done these things,  repent and start being that example it is never too late to begin again. Where there is life there is hope...
So Stay Free in Jesus!!!

Can We Talk?

Job 18:2 (NIV)

Be sensible, and then we can talk.

~Prayer~

Heavenly Father, please open the lines of communication in our marriage and draw us closer each day......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Marriage is not for the weak at heart. Are you ready to roll up your cleaves and make the marriage work. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Sometimes we have the misconception of what marriage is all about. Did you think when you said "I Do" you are going to skip  through the tulips and not have any problems or your married the man of God or the woman of God and you will live happily ever after and ride into the sunset. It doesn't work out like that always. Are you communicating with your spouse or are you just room mates just for the kids? Can you and your mate talk about anything?  How do you deal with disagreements? There are rule in arguments.

The Do's of Arguments

  • Calm down and pray.
  • Talk to your mate calmly.
  • Keep an open mind.
  • Discuss how you are feeling.
  • Discuss it and leave it there.
The Don'ts of Arguments

  • Never lay hands on your mate.(fight)
  • Never disrespect our mate by calling him or her out of there name.
  • Never argue in front of your children.
  • Never go there.......Where ever your there is.
  • Never use what was said in confidence.
  • Never talk about Mother, Father, Sister, Brother and don't use your kids as a weapon.
  • Never put your kids in the middle of your arguments. They love you both and it is unfair for you to put them in that situation.
This is just to name a few pointers. Please remember words hit harder than a fist. You can't take back your  words you can only say "I'm sorry." Be mindful of what comes our of your mouth.

Giving Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, I will Praise You in all things. You are worthy to be Praise....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

In all things give thanks....It's not always easy to do that, because of life's circumstances. However we must Trust The Lord and knowHe is in control of our lives. Isn't it amazing when The Lord tells you that He is going to bless you, The Lord doesn't tell you what all you are going to go through but by Faith we receive it, and know that the blessing is coming. We must teach our family to praise The Lord at all times and to remember to give thanks in everything.

Work On Me Lord

Psalm 51:10 (KJV)

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

~Prayer~

Dear Father, please work on me Lord. Take out anything  that is not pleasing in Your sight create a right spirit within me.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Is Psalm 51:10 your prayer to The Lord? We all need to let The Lord to constantly work on us. First we must allow The Lord to have his will in our lives. When The Lord works on you than you can be that example for your spouse, family, friends and your children. In your home there should be time to study The Word of God,  Talking  About the Goodness of The Lord, Prayer, Fellowshipping with other believers. That's how you get built up in The Word. So our prayer today is "Work On Me Lord" Amen.

Walking In Love

1 Corinthians 13:4-5  (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to walk in love and let my lifestyle resemble  Christ Jesus.

~Something To Ponder~

Are you showing the love of Christ in your home, spouse and children? It's so much more than talking it but you have to live it....We can't walk in love if we don't have patience, not being kind to one another,  walking in envy, being proud... it isn't about you, it's about Christ Jesus, talking about people and putting them on blast via media or other forms, again it isn't about you. Are you a walking time boom, or keep your families wrongs?  Something to think about... what if God treats you the way you treat your family, friends and co-workers? WOW We all need to stop right now and repent!! Our prayer should be work on me Jesus, so that others can see the Christ within me.....~Amen~

Sweet Sleep

Proverbs 3:24 (KJV)

When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for sweet sleep, for peace that passes all understanding,,,,,,~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you letting you children to watch anything on cable, cell phone, tabulate or TV? Are you telling them about the "boggy man"? Are you sleeping well or are you taking pills to go asleep? When we don't shout off  our creative  side of  us, our mind will be everywhere. We will be thinking of  our plans for work, projects, unfinished business and you maybe even into the next year....The remedy is to Pray with your family and ask The Lord to give you sweet sleep and to think on the goodness of The Lord and try to count the many blessings that He has given you. I Double Dog Dare You to read The Word of God before you go to bed and you will find your face in the Bible....So Get Some Sweet Sleep!!!!

Love Down Through The Years

Mark 10:9 (KJV)

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please rekindle the ambers in our marriage and  renew the love we have for each other in Jesus Matchless Name.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Marriage is not for the weak at heart. Make sure you and your spouse are equally yoked meaning the same faith and all things in common. Before you get married you disuse your marriage terms such as divorce is not an option, and there is not such thing as an open marriage, how we plan to raise the children, Church, and how we are going to pay the bills just to name a few. You have to roll up your sleeve and fight not your spouse but the enemy of our soul.  When you say "I Do"  this is for life not just until we get mad at each other or I'm not happy or we just fail out of love. How  do you do that?  If I wanted to be single I would not have said I  Do. You are making a vow unto The Lord first (Eccles. 5:5 NIV), then to each other and lastly to your family and guest. Here is a tip keep family and friends out of your marriage. When problems rise you must keep the lines of commutation open disuse it between you and your mate not in front of your children then pray. When you disuse it, don't bring it back up, leave it buried. Your love for each other will last for years!!! Keep Jesus in your marriage..

Putting Jesus First

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to seek You first in all of my plans. When I put my desires in Your hands I know it is taken care of.....~Amen~

Something To Ponder~

Are you putting God first? Are you looking at God as a "Sugar Daddy" or "Let's Make A Deal"? If I do this, then You will do that?  That is the wrong way of thinking. You know you can't fool God who is sitting high and looking low, God knows your thoughts before you even think it. The only thing we must do is to Repent and ask God to forgive you and be godly sorry, from this point on put Jesus first When we do the things of The Lord is because we love Him and because He first loved us... when we are obedient to His word, The Lord Blesses us with our desires. As parents we must be that  example to our spouse, children, family and friends. So Let's Put Jesus First Today...~Amen~

Are You A Dream Killer?

Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to give words of encouragement and not criticize everything. Please minister Lord to my soul that all thing are possible through Christ Jesus.......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you angery all the time? Are you that critical person? Do you criticize everything nothing good enough? Don't be a dream killer. With your words you can bless or curse. Are you killing your spouse dreams, aspirations and hopes? If you are not careful you will kill your children's dreams and their aspirations, then you wonder why they didn't grow up to their potential? Because you had spoken death to their dreams....Maybe you might have been brought up that way but the course is broken  today In Jesus, Name. God is merciful and He Love's us with an undying love...So there's  only one thing we have to do is to repent. Ask Jesus to help you with your words please give me words of encouragement and let me build up my spouse and my children. Thank You Lord I Am Free.....~Amen~

All Things .......

Romans 8:28 (KJV)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, please help me to understand the trials I'm going through You are in control.  Keep me every looking unto You for my help In Jesus' Name.......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

We may not understand why  we go through situations but Our God is solvent meaning God  doesn't have to give His agenda for our lives. You just have to receive it by faith. We all have to learn to say "All Things Really Do Work Together For The Good..." Everything that has happen to us, has made us stronger. We have learned to fall on our knees a little bit longer and stand on God's Holy Word and by Faith we have seen great things work in our lives and in our families life and  for that we can only say Thank You Lord!!! \O/

Mold Me Lord

Romans 9:20-21 (NIV)

But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, mold me and make into the person you have desired for me to be. I want to a vase of honor. Use me to Your Glory Lord.....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Are you willing  to allow Jesus to mold you into the person He desires of you? Aren't you tired of doing things your way and we alway find ourselves in trouble?  Then our Loving Father brings us up and out of it. When you finally say "Jesus Is Lord" of my life. Then and only then The Lord will groom you into the covering of your household, the man, husband, and the father and for your wife, she will be the wife, mother God has called her to be. Pray is so important to have in your lifestyle and in your home. Let's Pray Now, and thank God for every blessings He has given you ......~Amen~

Spank or Don't Spank?

Proverbs 13:24 (NIV)

Whoever spares the rod hates their children,
but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

~Prayer~

Dear Father, when it comes to chastising my child. Please help me to calm down and correct my child with love......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

Do you "Spank or Don't Spank"? Do you and your spouse agree on this subject? If not there can be confusion in your marriage. Do you spank at the point of your rage? There's a thin line of chastisement and abusing your child. You should never spank when you are mad. There are may ways on correcting  your child in love. Please pray with your mate and ask The Lord what method works for your children.

The Perfect Love

1 John 4:18 (KJV)

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear...

~Prayer~

Dear Lord, I thank You for loving me.....Your perfect love makes me complete in You. Thank You Lord....~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

The Only Perfect Love Comes From Christ Jesus. When you  really fall in love, your first love should be Jesus . When you put Him first every thing will line up. Loving Jesus, then you will start loving yourself, when you love yourself then you can love your spouse and children.  If you are  feeling that no one loves you ....just remember that Jesus Loves us with an undying Love. So let's fall in Love with Jesus today.

Loose Lips Sink Ships

James 1:19 (KJV)

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to stop talking about people and spreading there business via social media or by phone. Teach me to be mindful about there feelings ......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

"Loose Lip Sink Ships" we have heard this ever since we were little... but it is so true. Sadly to say it has creeped into The House Of God.  All through the Bible talks about Gossiping: Prov, 16:28; Romans 1:29-32; Prov. 25:18 a; 1 Tim. 5:113 and on and on. We are not only talking about women but men too.. Pray with your family and Ask God to deliver me from all that is not pleasing in me Lord. Please let me be Godly sorry and be mindful of there feelings. We must  remember we are the first teacher for our children. What are you silently showing them?

Hearing From God

Psalm 61 (KJV)

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

~Prayer~

Dear Heavenly Father, please open my ears so I can hear Your still small voice, let  me have some "We Time" with You Lord. Minister to my soul Lord.  Teach me to not only hear Your Word but do them.......~Amen~

~Something To Ponder~

In any marriage or relationship it is vital to have a Triune Relationship with Jesus Christ. A Triune Relationship is a Triangle: Jesus First,  Husband, Wife. Seeking The Lord for everything in you, your spouse and children's life. Teach your family to pray and believe that God  hears your prayers. You don't have to have a title before God hears your prayers. There is power in praying.  So today if you haven't prayed, pray now and watch God move in your life and your family's life.....~Amen~
