"O My Son Absalom"
(King David's Favorite 3rd Son)
2 Samuel 18:33 (NKJV)
Then the king was deeply moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept. And as he went, he said thus: “O my son Absalom—my son, my son Absalom—if only I had died in your place! O Absalom my son, my son!”
~Prayer~
Ask God to enable youto emotionally connect with each of your children so that you can pass on standards and convictions.....~Amen~
~Something To Ponder~
Are you frequently too tired or preoccupied to be emotionally involved with your children? Do you try to over-control your children, causing them to feel you are too authoritarian to be a gentle and loving parent?
