Think of any tense times you've had with your  mate recently. Can you detect in your own attitude and any childish ways? What steps can you take to help your own children mature?

 Express these needs to God in prayer. Confess your own helplessness in dealing with them and your total trust in God's power to render aid.

List the most urgent needs and problems you face right now. Have you found yourself grimly relying on your own inadequate strength to overcome them?

What evidence could you as a husband, present to show that you consistently love your wife as Christ loves the Church? What evidence would you as a wife present to show that you are being submissive to your husband?

1. He took time to prayer (Neh. 1:4-10, 2:4)

2. Nehemiah expressed loyalty, encouragement and support. (2:3)

3. Nehemiah was truthful

4. Nehemiah had an attitude of submission

5. Nehemiah was specific in his request
